Bio

What I do?

I am a faculty member of the University of Isfahan as a full professor and I am leading the big data lab of University of Isfahan. I have worked for Micro Advanced Co. and Toshiba Corporation for many years before joining the University of Isfahan and I have participated in many large scale projects in Iran.

Publication

My publications include numerous international journal papers and four patents registered in the USA and two database books that are widely used in universities. My main research interest is Big Data, Intelligent web, and NLP.

Educuation

I have received my B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 1981, and M.Sc. and PhD. from the University of Arizona, in 1983 and 1987 respectively, in Electrical and Computer Engineering

Teaching

I am teaching computer engineering courses at Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels in Iran, since 1992.
